From the Erasmus programmes perceived a few years ago as an originality in the school career, we are now confronted with an increasingly pronounced student mobility. Year of break during which the student wishes to travel the world, all or part of the university course carried out abroad, internship in a neighbouring or distant country, the reasons are many! The countries chosen are also many, sometimes with destinations several thousand kilometres away.
Switzerland, thanks to its standard of living and quality of life, is on the podium of the favourite destinations for international student mobility. The same applies to employees, many of whom come as a family and require their children to attend private and international schools, often in private schools.
When you arrive in a country with codes, standards, culture etc. that are totally foreign to us, one of the priority aspects for expatriates is very often that of security, first of all of yourself/family. This concerns the field of health, and more specifically insurance coverage.
Which insurance should I choose as a student, or for my children in school? How can we be sure to make the right choice, without a long-term vision of our future location? Today in Switzerland, tomorrow in England, the day after tomorrow in Brazil, with each time new steps to be taken to ensure?!
We believe that this “inhouse” insurance model, i.e. insurance by country, has now become obsolete in view of a changing world, a world in which individuals are increasingly mobile. We therefore offer students and pupils a single insurance model that follows them throughout their schooling, regardless of the country in which they decide to continue their studies (or via their parents) or to attend school. A minimum of 80% coverage in the best hospitals and doctors in each country thanks to a unique international network, repatriation assistance valid worldwide, full coverage in case of emergency, not to mention a fixed price for alternative medicines as well as for optical and dental expenses.
A single model, for an infinite number of countries, in itself a small revolution in the world of insurance!
